Triple Threat captures the YBOA State Championship

DESPITE LOSING several key players to injuries, Triple Threat recently captured the YBOA State Championship for the ninth-grade division. Several of the team members have been playing together for six years now, the last four as Triple Threat. Josh Jones, second from left, was the leading scorer for the tournament and named the event’s Most Valuable Player. Team members include, from left, coach Darrell Jones, Josh Jones, Tyler Tipton, Ray Reeves, Cantrel Ware, TJ Constant, Noel Patterson and Kobe Jones. Jireh Wilson is also a member of the team.
