Polk County’s Jordan Triplett notched her 15th win Tuesday night as the Lady Wildcats made short work of Tellico Plains.

Triplett faced the minimum number of batters though five innings as the Lady Wildcats cruised to a 10-0 win, for their 21st win.

Danielle Harvey led off the Lady Wildcats with a leadoff walk. Lydia Triplett followed with a single and Lily Cuzzort brought them both home with a two RBI double. Jordan capped the first with an RBI double of her own to give the Lady Wildcats the 3-0 lead.

It was a big third that broke the game open when Caroline Jenkins kicked things off with a double. Briana Muller drove in Jenkins with an RBI single and then stole her way around the diamond for another Polk run.

Sydney Rogers kept things going with a base on balls and Felecia Johnson notched an RBI with a double.

Harvey reached safely for the third time on a base on balls, Lydia grabbed two RBIs off a double and Sydney Sloan slammed a two-run homer to give the Lady Wildcats the 10 runs they needed to end things early.

Polk will be back in action again Thursday when they play host to Loudon, with first pitch slated for 5:30.
