Truman Eugene Hembree, 68, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at the home of his sister-in-law in Copperhill.

He attended Mercy Tabernacle in Benton. He enjoyed being with people and attending car shows and auctions. He had worked in the masonry business as a brick and block layer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph M. and Nora M. Allen Hembree; one sister, Mae Hyde; and three brothers: George Hembree, Luke Hembree, and David Hembree.

He is survived by his daughter, Joan Hembree of Cleveland; one granddaughter, Alexandria Scarbro and husband, Alex, of Cleveland; stepfather, Lee Kelly of Cleveland; two sisters, Marie Cochran and Bonnie Vines, both of Cleveland; one brother, Melvin Hembree of Benton; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at Mercy Tabernacle with Pastor Jon-David Hembree and Pastor John W. McCann officiating.

Interment will follow at Hembree Family Cemetery in Copperhill with nephews serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
