The Bradley County Trustee’s Office is making satellite locations available for Bradley County residents to pay their property taxes. “The satellite locations have been very popular with taxpayers. acThey have eliminated the need for citizens to come to the Courthouse and have allowed property owners to pay their property taxes closer to home,” Bradley County Trustee Mike Smith said in a media release.

Locations this year include Oak Grove Elementary School, Hopewell Elementary School, Waterville Elementary School and Bradley Square Mall (Kmart entrance). These locations will be available Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

On Feb. 25, a satellite location will be open at Bradley Square Mall (near the fountain). The Trustee’s office will also be open from 9 a.m. until noon that day.

According to the Trustee’s Office, satellite locations have been used at peak tax times since 2007. However, this is the first year all the locations will be open on the same day.

Checks are the only payment option accepted at the satellite locations. Taxpayers will need to have their tax statement with them in order to pay. Partial payments are not accepted at these locations, according to Smith.

Property taxes are due by Feb. 29. The Bradley County Trustee’s Office is located in the Bradley County Courthouse, and can be reached at 728-7247.
