Valerie V. “Larie” Revenig, 88, died Thursday, July 29, 2010, at St. Barnabas Senior Living in Chattanooga.

She was born in Minneapolis, Minn., where she was employed by Honeywell Corp.

In 1950 she moved to Cleveland with her husband and children. During 60 years in the same home, she raised four children and remained an active member and contributor at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church. She was devoted to her family and her faith. She took great pleasure in gardening, cooking and in spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee; and son, Lee Jr.

Survivors include her children: Michael Revenig of Chattanooga, Barbara Revenig of Spokane, Wash., and Mary Revenig of Knoxville; and six grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010, at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, with Father Peter Iorio presiding. The service will follow with a private interment.

Following the service, the family will receive friends in the Trinity Room at the church.
