Velma Lee Edmonson, 74, a resident of Cleveland, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011, in a local hospital.
She was a member of All Nations Church of God and was retired from AT&T as an information operator.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Earl Edmonson.
Survivors include her two children: Vicki Angel of Cleveland and Larry Edmonson of Barboursville, Ky.; five grandchildren: Sherri Beam, Miranda Coffelt, Billy Edmonson, Chandler Edmonson and Katie Angel; one granddaughter-in-law, Holly Edmonson; five great-grandchildren: Alexis Humphrey, Bridgett Coffelt, Conner and Jaden Beam and Madison Edmonson; two sisters: Helen Steinhauser and Bobbie June Fallen; brother, Paul Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. today, Nov. 13, 2011, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Whitmire officiating.
Interment will be held Tuesday in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 this evening prior to the service at the funeral home.
