She was born Jan. 29, 1939, in Dade County, Ga., to Nettie and Joe Reed.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Blaylock; children: Charlotte York of LaFayette, Ga., and Cheri Lovell of Ringgold, Ga., Tommy Blaylock of Rock Springs, Ga., and Calvin Blaylock of Ringgold; brothers: Ray Reed of Ringgold, J.D. Reed of Chickamauga; sister, Nadine Parker of Trenton, Ga.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held for family and friends Sunday, March 10, 2013, at 4 p.m. at the Mountain Cove Congregation of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 547 Road Runner Blvd., LaFayette.
