She was fondly known to family and friends as DeeDo.
She was the oldest living member of Smyrna Baptist Church and a member of the Ocoee Chapter 420, Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed researching family history and was known for her family “books.”
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Ledford; parents, John and Ora Kinser; son-in-law, Larry Sells; brothers: Harle Kinser and J.L. Kinser; and sister, Ruby Dixson.
She is survived by her daughters: Evelyn Shade and husband, Michael, of Sarasota, Fla., and Manon Sells of Ocoee; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great- grandchildren; a brother, Patrick Kinser and wife, Estelle, of Old Fort; a sister, Frances Rush and husband, Bill, of Ocoee; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2012, at Smyrna Baptist Church in Ocoee with Pastor Jimmy Parham officiating.
Interment will follow at Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery with her nephews: Darvin Dixon, Leon Dixson, Joe Kinser, Charles Kinser, Aaron Kinser and Theron Kinser serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 this evening at Grissom Funeral Home.
