William Ronald “Bill” Burgiss passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, in Phoenix.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Arthur Burgiss and Mary Lou Melton Burgiss; one son, Joseph Randall Burgiss; and one sister, Annie Burgiss Ledford.
He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Burgiss; three sons: Donald, Tony and Johnny Burgiss; one daughter, Kay McDaniel; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Peggy Jo Gilley and Sue Evans; and two brothers, Robert Burgiss and Earnest Burgiss.
A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at Gum Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. David Evans officiating.
