William “Bill” Harrison Goins, 80, of Cleveland, died Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, in a local hospital.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Ina Mae Snyder Goins and Earl Goins; and one brother-in-law: Earl Bigham.

He worked as manager at Gene Goins Used Cars and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Korea.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Goins, of Cleveland; son, Michael Goins of Cleveland; daughter, Julie Tallent of Cleveland; granddaughters: Candice Redden and Somer Tallent; great-granddaughter, RosaLynn June Stewart; sisters: Ruby Rymer, Barbara Bigham and Mary Frances Smith and her husband Danny; brothers: Randal Goins and his wife, Gwen, and Ronnie Goins and his wife, Carolyn, all of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

The Remembrance of Life Memorial service will be today, Jan. 2, 2011, at 4 p.m. at the Wildwood Avenue Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Home with Pastor Frank Nolan officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3 until the hour of the service at 4 p.m.
