Wilma Griffith Moore, 84, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at her home.
She was very strong in her Christian faith and was a member of North Cleveland Church of God.
She was a beautician working from her home until retirement. She also enjoyed traveling and was a motorcycle enthusiast for years.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ed Moore, and her second husband, William (Bill) Goodwin. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Sallie Griffith; one brother, Howard Griffith Jr.; one sister, Emma Jean Gregg; and a great-grandson, Robie Tyler.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and W.C. Whaley; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Luci Moore; granddaughters: Gina Tyler, Kristie Haun, and Lauren Moor; grandsons: Kile Moore and Cody Thomas; great-grandchildren: Kristina Haun, Elizabeth Haun, Tanner Haun and Ross Tyler; brother, Donald Griffith; and sister, Iva Dean Watson.
She has been blessed with a special caregiver, May Buckner, for nine years. Other loving caregivers include Virginia Hughes and Kathy Sorenson; and a special friend, Nancy Brown.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday April 27, 2012, in the chapel at Grissom Funeral Home with Pastor Mitch Maloney officiating.
Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Glen Griffith, Gary Griffith and Kile Moore serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 this evening at the funeral home.
