The award-winning Bowling Family singers will perform at South Cleveland Church of God, Sunday evening, Nov. 11, featured in a World Missions “Thank You” tour, led by Dr. Tim Hill.

The trio — Mike Bowling, Kelly Crabb Bowling, and Terah Crabb Penhollow — will be joined by other musicians.

The Bowlings, well-known to local audiences, have received multiple Grammy nominations and numerous Dove Awards.

The two sisters in the group formerly sang with the Crabb Family singers. This trio combines its rich heritage in Southern Gospel music with unmistakable talent to share God’s love through their singing.

Along with the Voices of Lee, the Evangelistic Singers of Lee University, and other guests, the Bowling Family will join World Missions director Tim Hill for the final stop in the “Thank You” tour, extending gratitude to area donors for generous and continuing support of missionaries.

The tour was initiated after more than $500,000 was donated in a single offering at the church’s July General Assembly in Orlando. The offering will help keep missionary families on their areas of service.

“Each year it requires nearly $5 million to keep our missionaries on the field. We are taking this message of gratitude to centrally located churches and letting them know how much the missionaries appreciate the support,” said John Childers, assistant director of World Missions.

Church of God World Missions has established churches in 176 countries and territories outside North America with 285 missionaries from the United States and 342 from other countries.

They operate Bible schools, homes for children, medical clinics, and other humanitarian ministries.

This special closing night of the “Thank You” tour begins at 6 and promises to be an evening filled with celebrated musical talent.

Everyone is invited to attend the service and share in the celebration.
