VICTOR AMUZU, 35, a native of Togo in West Africa, gave up his medical practice and moved to the U.S. to start a new life with his wife, Deborah, who works at Whirlpool in Cleveland. The couple married in January 2010, but were unable to live together in America until January 2012. Marriage law requires an appearance before a magistrate.
