Cleveland High School will present the 2013 Class Play Offs.  Class Play Offs are four one-act plays directed by seniors of the CHS Thespian Club and performed by each grade level.  At the end of the second night show, awards are presented for Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Play, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor and Actress, and Favorite Play. This year’s plays are “Speed Date” directed by Zach Fallin and performed by the seniors; “Goldilocks in Nursery Land” directed by Lydia Frazier and performed by the juniors; “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs of the New Republic” directed by Emily Ogle and performed by the sophomores; and lastly, “Jack vs. Jill” directed by Kaedee White and performed by the freshmen.  There is also a performance of a student-written and directed play called “Voices.”  This year, Melissa Goncalves wrote and directed “The Boondoggle.” The performances are Thursday and Friday, 7 nightly, at the CHS Betsy Vines Memorial Theater. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students.
