One loose nut It started out so simply. In trying to adjust the flush on the commode tank, a nut loosened and all the water from the tank flowed onto the upstairs bathroom floor (discovered an hour or so later). OK, so it was mopped up, and no harm done, so it seemed until … we went downstairs and saw water dripping from the ceiling. Well, all it did was stain the ceiling — no falling through — just the orangey watermarks. First it showed on the ceiling and then on the soffet. No big deal. It was through dripping and the ceiling dried out. To the hardware store for a can of spray paint. That should do it. It did. more
