Congratulations to Polk County's Ben Norwood for being selected as the Check Into Cash Player of the Week. The junior running back has scored five touchdowns while gaining 521 yards on 101 carries for a 5.2 yards per carry average so far this season. In the Wildcats' game against Sweetwater last Friday, Norwood carried the ball 22 times for 188 yards and a score.
