“It is Finished,” an Easter cantata, will be presented Sunday at 6 p.m., at Benton United Methodist Church. The church choir is under the direction of Wendell Richardson.

Steve Darmody will be in concert Saturday, April 20, at 6:45 p.m., at Ladd Springs Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Lebanon Baptist Church, 1411 Old Parksville Road N.E., will have a Community Easter Festival Saturday, 2 to 4 p.m. There will be an egg hunt, food, games and face painting.

Sunrise Baptist Church will have a sunrise service at 7:30 a.m. Sunday.

———

Easter Weekend Revival will be held Friday and Saturday, 7 nightly, and Sunday, 10:30 a.m., at Family Worship Center, 4271 Dalton Pike. The Shepherds will minister Friday and Saturday, and the Rev. Bruce Scotton Sr. on Sunday.

Buck Beaver will speak Sunday, 10:30 a.m., and Jay Falls will sing at 6 p.m. Sunday, at Lighthouse Ministries, 281 Ocoee St.

Bethel Baptist Church, 2415 Old Chattanooga Pike, will have a sunrise service on Easter Sunday, April 21, at 6 a.m.

Holy Week services at Broad Street United Methodist Church  include  Maundy Thursday, 6:30 p.m., where David Brickner will teach on “Remember the Seder” with an “authentic experience of Jesus and the disciples sharing the last supper. On Good Friday, 6:30 p.m., the combined adult choir and chamber musicians will present “Seven Last Words.”

The St. Luke’s Episcopal Church Holy Week services include Maundy Thursday at 12:10 and 6 p.m.; Easter egg hunt for children through fifth grade on Saturday, 11 a.m.; and Holy Communion on Easter Sunday at 7:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m, and 11:30 a.m.

Resurrection Weekend events are planned at Farmland Community Church, 1675 Greendale Drive.  On  April 20, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.,  the KIDz Spring Fling/Egg Hunt will be held with bounce houses, crafts, games, food and an egg hunt. On April 21, there will be a "Sonrise Service" at 7 a.m., followed by breakfast at 8 a.m. and discipleship groups at 9 a.m. At 10 a.m. the KIDz musical, "Unselfie"/Praise and worship will be held.

Community Chapel Church, 1807 Blythe Ave., will have a community egg hunt Sunday, beginning at 12:445 p.m.

Council Baptist Church will have an Easter egg hunt Saturday, 10:45 a.m to 12:30 p.m. at Charleston Park. There will be games and free lunch for all ages. There will be prize eggs as well as prizes given away.

Bethel Baptist Tabernacle's youth will have a skit, "Set Me Free," during Easter Sunday service, 11 a.m. There will be an egg hunt after service. The Sign Team "Silent Praise" will have the program Sunday, 6 p.m.

Galilee Baptist Church, 665 Old Chattanooga Pike, will have its Easter Sunrise service Sunday, 7 a.m. Morning service will begin at 11 a.m. There will be no Sunday school.

Journey Home and Thomas Brown will sing April 27, 5 p.m., at Pope Avenue Baptist Church, 301 Pope St. in Athens.

Mount Zion United Methodist Church, 7223 Georgetown Road N.W., will have an Easter Celebration Saturday, beginning at 2 p.m. There will be an egg hunt, movie, crafts and treats.

Community Chapel Church, 1807 Blythe Ave., will have an indoor yard sale on Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m.

Big Spring United Methodist Church will be giving out food on Wednesday, April 24, from 3 to 5 p.m..

Cedar Springs Baptist Church will have a sunrise service Sunday, beginning at 6:15 a.m., with church service to follow at the Truelove Barn at 10:30 a.m. There will be no Sunday school or evening service.

Pleasant Grove Baptist will present the "Seven Last Words of Jesus on the Cross" on Friday, 10:45 a.m.  Ministers participating include the Rev. Edward S. Robinson of Pleasant Grove; Jennifer Newell of First Cumberland Presbyterian; Elder Samuel Hall of Fellowship of Praise Church of God; Olive McMahan of Cross Pointe Church of God; Rodney Dunn of Burkett Chapel and Pleasant Hill Methodist; Edward S. Robinson Jr. of Mount Eagle Baptist in Charleston; Teresa Oglesby of Price Memorial AME Zion Church; and Freeman Ray of Shiloh Baptist Church. Billie Blair will be guest soloist and Michael Obi, presider.

Prospect Church of God, 2220 Harrison Pike, will have an Easter egg/Family Day on Saturday, 2 p.m. There will be food and fun for the entire family.

The Signs of Unity will perform Sunday, 6 p.m., at Unity Church of God, 3144 Fulbright Road.

Emmanuel Fellowship Anglican Church will hold a Community Easter Sunrise service on the front lawn of Mountain View Inn on Sunday, 7 a.m.

———

Cleveland First Church of the Nazarene, 2712 Henderson Ave., will have a community sunrise service Sunday, 7 a.m.

———

Eastview Chapel Church, 1393 Eastview Road in Georgetown, will present an  Easter service play Friday at 7 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m.

———
