Gretchen Coppinger, Inner guard from the Cleveland Elks Lodge, presented a

history of our American Flags and the origin of Flag Day at the June 13

Civitan meeting. From left are Luci Zwierzynski, Pam Edgemon, Coppinger, Joan Brown, and Lindsey Hathcock. Also discussed was the

Forty-fourth Annual Joe Rodgers Sr. Memorial Civitan Golf Tournament, which

will be held Saturdayat Chatata Valley Country Club.  Lunch

will be served by Stadium BBQ at 12:30 followed by a 2 p.m. tee off. Don

Ledford is providing a vehicle for the hole-in-one prize. Teams and hole

sponsors will be accepted right up to the start of the event.  For more
