Allan (Al) Chesley, 80, passed away peacefully Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, at his home in Charleston.
He retired from AT&T with 35 years of service. He also was chief of Bradley County Volunteer Fire Department, Eureka Station No. 46.
He was proceeded in death by his son, David Chesley of Summerville, Ga.; and his infant daughter.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce; two sons: Harold, and Paul; daughter, Nola; daughter-in-law, Jeannie; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
We would like to thank Center Point Baptist Church, where Allan was a member, for hosting the memorial service and the meal to follow, along with the members of Peakland Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Center Point Baptist Church in Charleston.
