Jerome Armstrong

Jerome William Armstrong, 44, of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017.

He was born on Aug. 9, 1973, to William Roy and Betty Jean Armstrong.

Jerome was a lifelong resident of this area. He enjoyed working on cars and playing darts. He was also very active in coaching youth sports, such as baseball and Upward soccer.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Roy Armstrong; grandmothers, Velma Hall and Ressie Armstrong; uncles: Dennis Burchfield, Richard Armstrong, and Roe Armstrong; and his aunt, Nellie Armstrong. 
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Betty Jean Armstrong; sisters, Jennifer McCracken (Kenny) and Kelly Noble (Joe); brothers: Michael Roy Armstrong (Virginia), Brent Armstrong, and Brad Armstrong; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Companion Funeral Home, 2419 Georgetown Road N.W. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. following the visitation with the Rev. Richard Doug Snyder. Interment will follow the service  in Reliance.
