Asa Keller Jr., 83, originally from Pittsburgh, Pa., went to be with his Lord and Savior, on Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, at his residence, surrounded by his family.
He was born on Jan. 19, 1938, to the late Asa and Margaret Keller. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Haley Keller.
Asa was a Sunday school teacher of 34 years, as well as an elder and choir member at Disciples of Christ Church in Cleveland. He was also a veteran of the Navy.
Left to cherish his memory are, his loving wife of 58 years, Chloe Keller; sons: Myles (Debora) Keller and Aaron (Lucy) Keller; daughters: Mary (Victor) Nolan, Valerie Kline, Kimberly (Thomas) Clem and Jennifer (Stacy) Pope; sibling: Marilyn Corfield; grandchildren: Bryan (Melanie) Lewis, David (Ru) Kline, Blake McAmis, Jenna McAmis, Shane Keller, Brandon Clem, Logahn McAmis, Nathan Keller, Sarah Clem, Tucker Pope, Adon Keller and Isabelle Keller; great-grandchildren: Kenna McAmis, James Lewis, Keely Catlett, Lilith Lewis and Eli Kline; and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Companion Funeral Home.
Visitation also will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, followed by a Celebration of Life in the chapel with Zoe Renfro officiating.
The burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Cleveland, with military honors.
