“Hey! Hey! Unto you a child is born!” A new Cleveland/Bradley County holiday tradition has begun! Bradley Central High School's theatre company DramaCentral will present the timeless classic “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” from Dec. 13 to 15, in Bradley Central’s Fine Arts Theater.
Before and after the show, the cast and crew as well as Santa himself will be on hand to share plenty of hot cocoa, cookies, and Christmas cheer.
“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” follows the touching story of the unruly Herdman kids as they wreak havoc during the rehearsals for the local church’s Christmas play. The “worst kids in the world” and an entire congregation collide in mayhem and merriment as blessings abound.
The true meaning of the holiday reigns in this chaotic Christmas classic that reminds us all of the reason for the season. Based on the award-winning and renowned 1971 book by Barbara Robinson, “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” is simply the most beloved of all Christmas plays.
“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” is enjoyed by all ages. The performance lasts one hour and begins at 7 p.m. Dec. 13, 14 and 15. The theater and lobby will open for guests at 6 p.m., with refreshments and fellowship.
Tickets are $8 and may be purchased at the door.
For reservations, please e-mail lbell@bradleyschools.org.
