Billie Lee Stephens

Billie Lee Stephens, 89, a resident of Cleveland, entered her heavenly home on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. 

Mrs. Stephens was the daughter of the late Lela Taylor Moore and Carl Moore.  Her husband of 71 years, LaVern R. Stephens; her beloved son, Greg L. Stephens; her brother; and her sister, also preceded her in death. 

Billie loved her family and her church.  She also loved to shop and interior decorating.  She was a member of the Keith Street Church of God of Prophecy. 
 
Survivors include her grandchildren, Nick B. Stephens and Torrie A. Stephens; her daughter-in-law, Sandra J. Stephens; her brother, Larry Moore and his wife, Bette; her sisters-in-law, Lorraine VanDeventer and her husband, Eugene, and Rene Moore; and several nieces and nephews.
 
The Remembrance of Life service will be conducted today, July 12, 2018, at 1 p.m. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, North Ocoee Chapel, with Bishop Tim Coalter, Jeff Moore and Anthony Cain officiating. 

Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, with Jason Dasher, Seaton Dasher, Conner Dasher, Mark Meinke, Greg Goodman and Bruce McDonald serving as casket bearers. 

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Keith Street Ministries, Peru Mission Fund; 4000 Keith St. N. W. Cleveland, TN 37312. 

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.
