Bonnie Jean Bentley, 71, of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018.
Jean was born in Pulaski, Va., to Richard and Mae (Potts) Knotter on Oct., 8 1946.
She married Jack Bentley on Jan. 1, 1964, in Pulaski. She graduated from New River Community College, Dublin, Va. She worked as a licensed practical nurse and was involved in Sonshine Avenue Ministries along with her husband for 30 years.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Bobby and Nick.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jack; her children, Jack Jr., Sara, Larry, and Mike; her sister, Chi Chi; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family of Jean wish to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Mark Williams and North Cleveland Church of God, as well as the compassionate healthcare provided at Erlanger Baroness Hospital.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, at North Cleveland Church of God, Dixon Hall, in Cleveland.
The funeral will be held immediately following visitation, with Dr. Mark L. Williams of North Cleveland Church of God officiating.
