Charles Lynn Beavers Sr., 68, a longtime resident of Georgetown, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2019, at his home in Birchwood.

He served his country in the U.S. Army. He loved to fish, camp and working on cars in his spare time, but most of all he was a family man, and loved to spend his time with his family. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Agnes Beavers; brother, Lloyd Beavers; and sister, Stella Shannon.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 26 years, Wanda Beavers; sons, Charles Lynn Beavers Jr., John Williams Brock Jr. and Billy Neal Brock; daughters, Angel Breedlove, Tiffany Brock and Eugina Lawrence; brother, Richard Beavers; his 20 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019, from 5 to 9 p.m., and on Friday, Feb. 22, 2019, from 10 to 11 a.m., with the Celebration of Life service at 11 a.m. at Cedar Ridge Seventh-day Adventist Church (8408 Highway 60, Georgetown, TN 37336).

Internment will follow at McInturff Cemetery in Birchwood.
