Charlyanne Holland Cantrell

Charlyanne Holland Cantrell, 89, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017.

She was loved very much by her family and by friends who knew her. She was born on Sept. 7, 1928, in San Antonio, Texas. She was the daughter of Frank and Grace Holland.

She has made Cleveland her home since 1963. She was a member of the Cohutta Seventhday Adventist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd William Cantrell; her parents, Frank and Grace Holland; her brother, William (Bill) Holland; her daughter, Patricia Katherine Hilliard; and her granddaughter, Stephanie Kay Hilliard.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sister, Gail Swann; brother, Lee Holland and wife, Becky; her five children: Sherre Cantrell, Gary Cantrell and wife, Becky, Scott Cantrell and wife, Becky, Tammy Rogers and husband, Mike, and Michael Cantrell and wife, Ellie; seven grandchildren: Soni Allen, Blake Cantrell, Garrett Cantrell, Olivia Cantrell, Sheena Cantrell, Sasha Cantrell, and Nichole Carroll; four stepgrandchildren: Michael Rogers, Dennis Rogers, Casey Rogers, and Shelby Satterfield; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Companion Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

A private burial service will be held at Benton Memorial Gardens in Benton Monday, Sept. 18, 2017, at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Tennessee Chapter, 404 BNA Drive, Nashville, TN 37217 in honor of her son, Scott Cantrell.
