The Mormon congregation on Pryor Road in Cleveland will hold a social on Thursday. The public is invited to participate.

Union Grove Church of Christ, Bates Pike, will have its monthly clothing giveaway at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

The Carters will be singing at Pope Avenue Baptist Church, 301 Pope St., Athens, on Sunday at 6 p.m.

Dove Quartet will sing at Hampton Drive Baptist Church on Sunday in the 11 a.m. service. Lunch will be served after the service. No Sunday school or evening service.

Prospect Church of God seniors will have a fundraiser dinner ($8) on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Delivery will be from 11 a.m. to 1 pm. For more information, call 716-2000.

The "Young at Heart" group from Big Spring United Methodist Church will meet Thursday, at Old Fort Restaurant.

Chatta Valley will sing at Bethel Baptist Tabernacle during the morning service on Sunday.

Council Baptist Church, 1415 Upper River Road, Charleston, will have Pastor Appreciation, Sunday at 6 p.m., with a covered-dish meal. Friends of Pastor Keith Watson are invited to attend.

New Beginning Fellowship, Waterlevel Highway, will feature Joint Heirs in a singing at 11 a.m. Sunday.

Sugar Creek Community revival will begin Monday and go through Oct. 27, 7 p.m. each night, at 343 Sugar Creek Road S.E. Preaching will be by Roy Tatum, Benny Watson and Terry Daniels. Good old-fashioned worship will feature special singers every night. Finger foods will be served Friday night.
