Tammy Johnson will be the speaker for the His Hands Extended Devotional at Garden Plaza, 3500 Keith St., on Aug. 16 at 7 a.m.

The Mormon congregation on Pryor Road in Cleveland will hold a social on Thursday. The public is invited to participate.

Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church will hold a Ladies Conference and Luncheon Aug. 19 at 1 p.m. Women at the Well will be the guest speaker.

Ball Play Baptist Church, Old Fort, will be in revival Monday through Thursday at 7 nightly. Day services will be Tuesday through Thursday at 11 a.m. Brother Handley Milby from Buffalo, Ky., will be preaching. For more information, call 706-483-1851.

Hawkinsville Missionary Baptist Church, 7463 Pinewood Drive, Chattanooga, will celebrate the 107th church anniversary and homecoming on Aug. 26, with recording artist and minister Tim White of Chicago in concert at 6 p.m. He will preach on Aug. 27, in morning worship. A homecoming dinner will follow.

Washington Avenue Baptist Church, 1720 Perry St., will have homecoming today, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Special guests will be the Bowling Family.

Gum Springs Baptist Church, 383 Gum Springs Road is having homecoming today, beginning at 11 a.m. There will be preaching, choir and special music. Dinner wil be served in the fellowship hall.
