Dan Black will be the speaker for the His Hands Extended Devotional at Garden Plaza, 3500 Keith St., on Aug. 23 at 7 a.m.

Union Grove Church of Christ, Bates Pike, will have its monthly clothing giveaway at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

———

Frank Cancler wil be preaching at Bound for That City Church, Lowery Street, on Saturday at 7 p.m.

———

Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church will hold a Ladies Conference and Luncheon Saturday at 1 p.m. Women at the Well will be the guest speaker.

———

Homecoming at Southview Baptist Church will be Sunday, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Chatta Valley Boys will be the featured singers. Lunch will follow the morning service. There will be no evening service.

Prospect Church of God, 2220 Harrison Pike, will have a fundraiser event for the church today featuring barbecue dinners — serving from 4 to 7 p.m. For more information, call 716-2000.

God’s House of Prayer, 1215 Spring Place Road, will hold Pastor Appreciation Night on Sunday at 7 p.m. in honor of Pastor Don Harris. Singers will be the Recognized.
