Life Care Center of Copper Basin, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Ducktown, is welcoming a new executive director, Jimmy Dale.

Dale most recently served as executive director at Lynchburg Nursing Center, another Life Care facility, in Lynchburg. He started his career in senior care as a valet at Life Care Center of Ooltewah, and worked in several positions there until entering Life Care’s administrator-in-training program.

“I enjoy working with the people,” said Dale. “What I like about Copper Basin is the family-like atmosphere at the building and the beautiful drive up the Ocoee River I get to enjoy every day.

Originally from Portland, Ore., Dale earned his bachelor’s degree in long-term care administration from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale. He currently resides in Apison with his new bride, Brianna.

Life Care Center of Copper Basin, located at Copper Basin Industrial Park, is one of 27 facilities in Tennessee managed by Life Care Centers of America.

Founded in 1976, Life Care is a nationwide health care company. With headquarters in Cleveland, Life Care manages more than 200 nursing, post-acute and Alzheimer’s centers in 28 states. For more information about Life Care, visit lcca.com.
