Daniel W. Carr, 77, of Cleveland and formerly of Texas, passed away Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021, in a local hospital.
Born in Weir City, Kan., he was the son of the late Violet May Richardson Carr and Chester Warren Carr. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Sharon Carr; and his son, Steven Carr.
He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the National Guard. He worked as an information yech in the banking business for 54 years. Since moving to Cleveland, he attended the North Cleveland Church of God.
Survivors include, his daughter, Sharon Carr and her wife, Paige, of Chicago, Ill.; his daughter-in-law, Lori Carr of Texas; his sister, Helen Smith and her husband, Joe, of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
The Remembrance of Life service will be conducted on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021, at 3 p.m. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel, with the Rev. Tim Burdashaw and Mr. Carr's brother-in-law, Joe Smith, officiating.
Graveside service will be conducted at the Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas, on Thursday at 1 p.m., C.S.T.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 p.m. Tuesday at the local funeral home.
