David Bryan Banks, 67, passed away on Monday, Sept. 13, 2021, at his home.
He retired from Schering-Plough with 20 years of service and was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. He loved his family and loved to play the guitar.
He is survived by his daughters: Bethany Millsaps (Howard), and Sheena Banks; son, David Adam Banks (Amy); 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers: Ronnie Banks and Steve Banks; along with several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, Wildwood Avenue Chapel, with Pastor Jason Barnes officiating. The interment will follow at Hilcrest Cemetery with family and friends serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends Friday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
