David Keith “Toby” Bettis, 58, a native and lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017, in a local hospital.
He was of the Baptist faith and had worked as a truck driver. His passions in life were fishing, watching wrestling and most of all, truck driving.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Bettis.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Bettis of Cleveland; two sisters: Tina Bettis of Rossville, Ga., and Lisa Cochran and husband, Ronnie, of Resaca, Ga.; and 13 nieces and nephews: Courtney Bettis, Heather Bettis, Andrew Cochran, Cheyanne (Micah) Huckabey, Hannah Williams, Dy’marcys Bradford, Jada Adams, Ja’nyah Adams, Rashyla Ellison, Josiah Bradford, Malakai Bradford, Emma Huckabey and Gracynn Huckabey.
A Remembrance of Life celebration will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017, in the chapel of Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home with Brother Jimmy Bettis officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
