Debra A. Simonds, 57, of Benton, passed away Monday, Sept. 18, 2017, at a local hospital.
Even though she struggled with cancer for 13 years, she never complained. She was a joyful person and always laughing. She never met a stranger. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert and Viola Eaton Perian; and brother, Wilbert W. Perian Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Simonds, who was the love of her life for 18 years; children: David Perian, Bryan Parrish and Ashley (Mitchell) Rynbrand; grandchildren: Davah and Christian Perian, Autumn Cross, Daniel Williams, and Emily and Lauren Rynbrand; sisters: Una Mae (Charles) Rogers and Janice Perian (Jamie Green); and nieces and nephews: Gabriel Green, Robert Flake and Sebrina Free.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 7 p.m. today, Sept. 20, 2017, at Higgins Funeral Home in Benton, with the Rev. Carl Haulk officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home prior to the service.
