Dorothy “Dot” Craigo, 92, of McDonald, passed away Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021, in a local health care facility.
She was the daughter of the late William and Amanda Castee. She and was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Craigo; her sister, Aelene Belk; her brothers: Stewart, Kenneth and Jerry Casteel; and her daughter-in-law, Cindy Craigo.
Dot was a member of Prospect United Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She love to crochet, work in her flower garden and she loved cooking, especially for her family.
She is survived by her son, John Craigo; her grandchildren: Calvin Craigo and his wife, Amanda, and Carrie Nelson and her husband, Dustan; five great-grandchildren; her sisters: Geneva Moore, Mary Fowler and Carolyn Steelmon; along with several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021, at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, Wildwood Avenue Chapel, with Dr. Phil Sumrall officiating.
The interment will follow at Earls Cemetery, with Ronnie, Kendell and Curtis Moore, Hudson, Nash and Calvin Craigo and Steve May serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 5 until 8 p.m,. at the funeral home.
