Ethel “Gail” Farmer, 74, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Monday evening, Aug. 14, 2017.
She was a member of the Center Point Baptist Church and worked with children. All that knew her knew that she loved hummingbirds, reading and working with flowers. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Eva Watson; brothers, Garland Watson and Robin Watson; and nephew, Travis Watson, all of Etowah, TN.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her son, David Farmer; daughters, Tammy White and Tracie Beavers (Jerry); sister, Jean Ware of Cleveland; brother, W.D Watson of Etowah; grandchildren: Jonathan White (Cheryl), Garrick White, Mikayla White, Amber Ratcliff, Ashley Ratcliff,and Brandin Fain; four great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation is planned for today, Aug. 18, 2017, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Companion Funeral Home, 2419 Georgetown Road N.W.
A Celebration of Life service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at Old Pathway Baptist Church, 224 Rymer Road, Cleveland. She will be laid to rest following the service in the Moore’s Chapel Cemetery.
