Ethel “Gail” Farmer, 74, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Monday evening, Aug. 14, 2017.
She was a member of the Center Point Baptist Church and worked with children. All who knew her knew she loved hummingbirds, reading, and working with flowers. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Eva Watson; brothers: Garland Watson and Robin Watson; and nephew, Travis Watson.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, David Farmer; daughters: Tammy White and Tracie Beavers (Jerry); grandchildren: Jonathan White (Cheryl), Garrick White, Mikayla White, Amber Ratcliff, Ashley Ratcliff, and Brandin Fain; four great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation is planned for Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Companion Funeral Home, 2419 Georgetown Road N.W.
A Celebration of Life service is planned for 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at Old Pathway Baptist Church, 224 Rymer Road.
She will be laid to rest in the Moore’s Chapel Cemetery.
