Evelyn Carnaghi, 87, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, in a local health care facility.
She retired from civil service where she worked in the area of logistics. She attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she was a member of the women’s group, The Relief Society. She loved to help other people through this group and was passionate about her gardening.
She was prededed in death by her parents, Daily and Mattie Goss Ensley; as well as her 11 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her nephew, the Rev. Lee Roy Howard of Cleveland.
The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. today, Dec. 17, 2017, in the chapel of Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home with the Rev. Lee Roy Howard officiating. Interment will follow at the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. today at the funeral home prior to the service.
