Frances L. McGehee, 83, a resident of Cleveland,, passed away Saturday Feb. 24, 2018, at the family residence.
She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Bessie Mae Black; and was also preceded in death by her brother, Dewey Allen Black; and a sister, Elizabeth Lucille Black.
She was a past store manager for Family Dollar on Spring Place Road, and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, James C. McGehee; her sons: Mark McGehee and his wife, Kristen, and James Anthony “Tony” McGehee; her grandsons: Christopher Patrick McGehee and Joseph Lofton McGehee; brother, Raymond Eugene Black; and numerous nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Avenue Chapel with the Rev. Jim Hibbard officiating.
The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., at the funeral home.
