Ginger Robinson has been selected as assistant coordinator at Cleveland’s U-Turn Institute, institute coordinator Dr. Bill Balzano has announced.
“Ms. Robinson is a significant addition to the leadership of our institute and brings a seasoned view to our programming to promote healing, hope and happiness for hurting people,” Balzano said.
The U-Turn Institute has been established in the past few months by the Lynn Jones Foundation and Westmore Ministries. The purpose of the institute is to bring spiritual, emotional and social healing by sharing life experiences, which allows interested persons to identify with others who have similar life experiences. The institute will also include leadership development, nationally and internationally, as well as educational programming for adults and school-age children.
The U-Turn Institute will be located in the facilities currently housing the Westmore Church of God, which is constructing a new church campus off Highway 60.
“Ms. Robinson is well suited to serve in a leadership capacity with this dynamic organization,” Balzano said.
Balzano said Robinson has a rich background in the field of education, in the corporate world and in ministry. She has taught at the secondary level of education, as well as at the university level, including stints at both Lee University and Alcorn State University. In the corporate world, she worked in the human resources area as a training specialist and is a Zenger Miller/Achieve Global Certified Trainer. She served as a pastor’s wife for 15 years in Kentucky and Illinois.
Balzano said she is widely regarded as an outstanding speaker and has been the invited speaker in many conferences for women and young people. In addition, she has served on numerous boards, including ministry and education boards, both secular and religious in nature.
“The U-Turn Institute is developing an international program, as well as a national program," Balzano said. "Ginger Robinson has brought leadership experience and success that will accelerate our programming in our country and beyond."
