Cleveland’s 40 & 8 Veterans organization has scheduled its sixth annual Great Pumpkin Chase.

The first race in the 5-kilometer, 10K and one-mile Fun Walk event is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21. The event will be held on the Cleveland Greenway (on a out-and-back course with the starting point at Pavilion 2 at Tinsley Park.

Registration forms must be completed in full and signed by the participant (or legal guardian if the participant is under 18 years of age).

The entry fee is $15 for students, veterans and active duty personnel, and $18 for all others. Entry fee on the day of the Chase will be $25.

All registered runners will receive a T-shirt. Late entrants will still receive a T-shirt, as long as supplies last.

Trophies will be awarded to the overall male and female winners. Additional awards will go to first-, second- and third-place finishers (male and female) in each age category. Overall winners will not be eligible for the age-group awards.
