Gregory Martin Grigsby, 63, a resident of Cleveland, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 19, 2018, at his home.

He was born on March 27, 1955, in Cleveland, to Joe and Dot Grigsby.

Greg was a faithful husband of 42 years to Connie Grigsby. He was a charter member of the Westmore Church of God, where he continued to serve in various capacities and as a member of the men's group, The Caveman's Club, that met each Wednesday night.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Dorothy Mullinax Grigsby; and nephew, Ryan Lenderman.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Williams Grigsby; daughters: Erica Grigsby Sherrill (Matt) of Brentwood, and Kaitlin Grigsby of Austin, Texas; grandchildren: Lily and Fields Sherrill; siblings: Debi Lenderman (Doug) and Jeff Grigsby (Angela); aunt, Virginia Mullinax; special brothers and sisters-in-law: Ronnie Williams (Pat), Gerald Williams (Novella), Steve Williams (Linda), Eddie Williams (Carolyn) and Paula Gill; along with many beloved extended family members and friends.

A memorial service will be on Monday, July 23, 2018, at 7 p.m. at Westmore Church of God with Pastor Robert Green officiating.

His family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at the church prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Westmore Building Fund http://westmorecog.org/give/ or to the local FCA chapter http://ocoeefca.org/donate.
