An altercation between two inmates Tuesday at the Bradley County Jail resulted in injuries to one inmate.

Bradley County Sheriff’s Office public information officer Brian Graves confirmed that Life Force was at the jail; however, due to Federal HIPPA privacy laws, no further information can be released.

In addition, according to media reports, a female inmate at the jail attempted to harm herself. The incident occurred Wednesday. According to information learned from a Bradley County 911 Center dispatch, a jail employee told a dispatcher that the woman had attempted to hang herself, prior to jumping off a bunk and inuring her feet. She had been placed on suicide watch earlier, reports said. According to reports, the woman was conscious, but in a confused state,

The woman was transported by ambulance to an area hospital.
