Jackie Brown, 71, of Conover, N.C., formerly from Cleveland, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, June 12, 2019.
She was born Jan. 6, 1948, in Moultrie, Ga., the daughter of Nolie Young Croft of Climax, Ga., and the late Claude Croft.
She had worked as an executive assistant in insurance. She was of the Methodist faith. She was a loving mother and friend to many, and a gem who will lighten heaven up.
Including her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Croft.
Including her mother, those left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Miche Corner and husband, Tony Corner, of Cookeville; a son, Robert Brown and wife, Tammi Jacobs-Brown of Conover; grandchildren: Caleb Jones, Shekinah Jacobs, and Destinee Jones; great-grandchildren: Catori Jones, Trevin Jacobs; and two nephews: Adams Croft, Jason Croft.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Cookeville.
