James (J.L.) Clark, 76, of Cleveland died on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, at his residence after a long-fought battle with cancer.
He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a 32nd Degree Mason. He enjoyed gardening, Western movies, football, traveling and his R.O.M.E.O. Breakfasts.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Clark of Cleveland; his parents, J.B. and Ruby Clark; and his sister, Alma Knight.
He is survived by his children: Jay (Jennifer) Clark, and Sherry Clark Farmer, all of Cleveland, Curtis (Jeannine) Clark of Benton, Daniel Mckinzey of Chattanooga and Kelli Bryson of Cleveland; grandchildren: Courtney Clark, Chris Clark, Jacob (Cally) Clark, Brooklyn (Cameron) Sewell, Dawson Hindmon, Victoria (Caleb) Powell, Madison Farmer, Emma Clark, Jesse Clark, Anna Clark and Mia Mckinzey; great-grandchildren: Jackson Ross, Carter Fletcher, Ember Sewell and Carson Clark.
Doyle Hawkins will be officiating at a graveside service at 10 a.m. today, Oct. 27, 2021, at the Calhoun Cemetery by First Baptist Church.
