Johnny Ben Leamon Jr., 56, of Harrison, loving husband, father and grandfather, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017.

He was the former owner of Johnny’s Wrecker Service and a lifelong fisherman and member of numerous bass clubs. He was very active with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Chattanooga.

The family is most grateful for all the support of the many dear friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Marie Leamon.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Leamon; “Mom,” Margie Ramsey; lifelong friend and the mother to his children, Cindy Poole Ogle; son, Johnny (Peyton) Leamon III of Cleveland; daughters: Jennifer (Andrew Blair) Leamon of Cleveland, and Jessica Watts of Harrison; brother, Jeff Leamon of Ooltewah; sister, Janice Leamon of Chattanooga; grandchildren: Andrew Watts, Morgan Watts, Abby Burnett, Adam Watts, Jayden Blair, Chandler Leamon, Deanna Leamon, Fenway Leamon, Jase Blair and Axel Blair; and nieces and nephews: Thomas Leamon, and Jonathon and Tiffany Sharp.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, with Brother George Ashburn officiating. Burial will follow in New McDonald Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, make donations to the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America (bbbs.org) or the American Cancer Society.
