Josephine Burdette, 82, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017.
All who knew her knew that she was a hard worker. She would always seek opportunities to help others in need, always helping in any way she could. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family, especially with her granddaughters. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Nellie Gibson; and two loving children, Cathy Holder and Michael Holder.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory loving children Ricky Holder, Chris Holder, Lisa Bandy (Samuel), and Moniko Thomas (Richard); beloved grandchildren: Damien Lawless, Amanda Case (John), Joseph Harvell, Hannah Scoggins, and Mariah Thomas; and great-grandchildren, Keegan Lawless and Hayden Casey.
A Celebration of Life service is planned for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8, 2017, in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home, at 2419 Georgetown Road N.W., Cleveland.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 5:30 until the 7:30 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
