Judy A. Adams

Judy A. Adams, 79, of Benton, passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 18, 2020, at a local hospital.
She was a member of Benton Church of God and was an avid collector.  She enjoyed making weekly trips to the flea markets, yard sales and loved spending time with her friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jimmy Adams; mother, Mae Lawson Queen; and brother, Harley Queen.
Survivors include her beloved daughter, Donna (Chris) Cox; grandchildren: Dustin Cox and Stephany Kirksey; great-grandchildren: Josh Kirksey, Jessica Mae Kirksey, Brianna Kirksey, Taylor Cox and Devin Cox; and brother, David Queen.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, 2020, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Herron officiating.
Interment will follow at Cookson Creek Cemetery with Allen Queen, Frank Kirksey, Josh Kirksey, Jeff Ellis and Dakota Ellis serving as pallbearers.
Her family will receive friends from 5  until 7 p.m. today,  and from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday, at the funeral home.
