Judy Kay Ogle
Judy Kay Mynatt Ogle, 69, passed away Aug. 4, 2017, at the University of Tennessee hospital in Knoxville, after a short illness.
A Knoxville native, she graduated from Central High School in 1965. She attended Lee University. She was a loyal helper and companion to the love of her life, the Rev. William Michael Ogle. They met when they were 12 years old and would have been married 52 years on Oct. 15. She was a gifted decorator and used these skills to bring beauty to United Methodist congregations in Dayton, Englewood, Decatur, Chattanooga, Louisville and Bluff City, until her husband's retirement in 2013. She loved God and working in the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Spurgeon and Iva Lee Mynatt; her sister, Linda Carol Riley; and a son-in-law, Nathan Paul Garner.
She is survived by her husband, Mike, of Cleveland; her son, Mike (Angie), of Blacksburg, Va.; son, Tim (Kristy), of Cleveland; daughter, Kelley Ogle Garner, of LaJolla, Calif.; six grandchildren: Haley Ogle Tilley (Justin), Mary Beth Ogle Spencer (Hunter), Emily Grace Ogle and Chris Allen Ogle, all of Cleveland, Joshua Bryson Garner and and Madeline Grey Garner, of LaJolla; two great-grandchildren: Jackson Behr Tilley, 11 months, and her newest great-grandchild, Fletcher Ray Spencer, 3 months, both of Cleveland; friend and stepmother, Evelyn Mynatt, and sister, Donna Mynatt, both of Knoxville; two brothers, David Hodges (Dina) and Brian (Kelly) Hodges; and several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017, at First United Methodist Church, 3427 N. Ocoee St., with a memorial service at 4:30 p.m.

Ministers of the Holston Valley Conference and their spouses are invited to serve as honorary pallbearers.
