Karen L. Terry, 46, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday evening, Oct. 24, 2017. 

All that knew Karen, knew her for her loving and giving heart. She would always go out of her way to help anyone she could. She always had a big heart for animals, especially her dog, Sam. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by everyone who knew her. 

She is preceded in death by her father, Howard Terry; maternal grandparents, Norman and Juanita Grenz; paternal grandparents, Oscar and Dorothy Terry; and special uncle, Alvin Scroggins. 

Karen leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving mother, Norita Terry; children, Josh Terry (Brittany) and Matthew Krewson (Maranda); grandchildren: Leigh-Ann, Madalynn, Sydney, and Bellamy; sisters: Kimberly Cagle (Patrick) and Krystal Culbertson (Timmy); nephews: Christopher Culbertson and Timothy Culbertson; and many, many friends. 

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, at Companion Funeral Home, 2419 Georgetown Road N.W. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m . in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home, with Pastor Doug Bell officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
